TSC Services and Support

TSC offers a range of service support allowing the service supplier to tailor its investment of capital and time in the email solution.  Vircom itself offers unlimited daytime support during work hours in addition to after hours support for an annual fee.  In addition, Vircom offers a Sentinel™ support that automatically monitors the system.  Training by Vircom is available on line.

TSC can provide on site installation onto the server of your choice as well as loaded and configured systems shipped to your site ready to be rack mounted and powered up.  The most common installation for owner operated systems is to provide on line telephone support assisting an onsite technician.  Average installation time is approximately ten hours including subscriber mailbox population conversion.

For any system located at the TSC host site the system is installed entirely by TSC and Vircom trained personnel assuring a smooth and effective installation and conversion.  When the system is POP3 and the subscriber identities and passwords are known, the conversion is largely automatic with only the most infrequent users requiring manual intervention.  The manual conversion can be performed by the owner operator from the web interface for any installation.

TSC hosted solutions are continuously maintained and updated, monitored on a 24/7 basis with trained service personnel available on short notice.  These personnel provide all recovery support in the event of a hardware failure.

Reliability can be improved by any level of firewall protection, hot standby, load shared redundancy, off server standby and full load sharing including port sharing can be installed and provided by TSC for your installation whether at your on site location or by TSC software services.  While TSC has recommended levels of reliability virtually any special requirement can be met.

The database controlling the Vircom system is ODBC compliant and can be upgraded to MicroSoft SQL for extremely large databases.  TSC can provide database programming to integrate the Vircom system into any ODBC compliant billing or customer support system.
